I am more upset with no phone call or heads up that there were issues. We were left scrambling to find accommodations for the next two days five hours from home.
The front desk person also told us that our soon to be neighbor was drunk placed there by the state.
I do NOT recommend staying here. Check the state site for violations prior to booking.
Since I can't give zero stars, I have to give one. Made reservation 10 days prior to arrival. When we arrived, my wife was told that the State is shutting the hotel down (as of 06/23/2016) She was told that there were bed bugs and snake infestation. The potable water was contaminated with E. coli and we could not drink from it. The room they were going to give us was covered cigarette burns and smelled of must.

Spent 3 days/nights. Enjoyed the getaway, caught fish everyday, slept well every night. The new management is great, really enjoyed visiting with Michelle. and Peggy. Our dog Izzy liked visiting with everyone.
